Describe a person – your best friend
I usually make friends easily, so I have a lot of friends – schoolmates, neighbours, relatives. I can’t imagine my life without them. But there is one, who will always be in the first place in my heart. Her name is Anna and she is my closest friend.
Anna is a very beautiful and charming girl and always attracts males’ attention. She is taller than me and has straight brown hair and deep chestnut brown eyes. Like most teenagers she pays a lot of attention to her appearance and likes dressing in the latest and most extravagant fashion. I don’t think I’ve ever seen her in a T- shirt or jeans.
By nature Anna is communicative and outgoing and the thing she likes best is being the centre of attention. Her biggest dream is to become a singer and I truly believe that one day she’ll make her wish come true. Anna has won many prizes and has taken part in many concerts, because she sings really incredibly.
As a normal human being, however, Anna also has her shortcomings. She never goes on time to her dates. Sometimes she is absent-minded and inconsiderate and that makes people think she never takes things seriously. But this is not true. She has a strong sense of responsibility and you can always rely on her.
Another characteristic she has is that she’s gregarious, sensitive and emotional. She also gets confused easily and doesn’t forget those who have caused her harm.
The thing I admire most about Anna is that she is protective and likes to look after people. Believe it or not, once she ever saved my life! I’ll never forget that day. We went swimming in a pool. Suddenly, my left leg went dead I couldn’t go on swimming. I lost consciousness. When I opened my eyes I found myself lying and Anna holding my hands. She, herself had pulled me out of the water. That was a real narrow escape from the death, and if she weren’t there, I would have drowned.
For me, friendship is the most important thing in the world. I am proud to say that I have such loyal and helpful friend – one in a million.
My Mom - A Very Special Person In My Life :)I wanted to write about my mom today. She is one of those very precious person on earth.
There are only few people who are like her, she has this wonderful faith without doubts, amazing forgiving heart, strong mindset and kind nature.
I have normally seen mom's cry when their daughters cry, but my mom asks me to face the problem - she explains to me what I am, how good I am, why I should try - instead of crying with me. When I was in my teenage I used to mistake her, i used to think she doesnt care, i wanted her to cry with me when i had a problem, i didnt understand that she was motivating me in a different way... I only realized this very late, when almost in my 27 years of age.
When I was a kid I used to get scared of insects, she will start talking about the crocodile hunter, tell me there are people who handle snakes.
My aunty used to tell me, that my mom never cried or got tensed during all her 3 baby deliveries - the nurses used to ask her are you really feeling the pain or not. My mom used to cooly answer, hey its my pain, i am supposed to handle it - why should i cry or scream or waste my energy, i can never transfer pain - so I am taking it this way - The nurses and doctors used to be amazed by her attitude. She never shows the physical pain, never ever... always fresh, always smiling, always loving - a true inspiration.
She is one very strong women, with superb observing power. When I am involved in an argument with someone, and I dont want to totally forgive the other person - she just drops all the positive nature and words that the argument contained and make me realize that I am stupid and I have to let go of the moment and hold on to the person.
She is a brilliant wife, mother, mother in law, daughter-in-law etc... Every role she took up - she has been very successful...
She goes by Jane Austen Rule, "I know that you could be neither happy nor respectable, unless you truly esteemed your husband; unless you looked up to him as a superior." Mr Bennet lines to Lizzy in Pride and Prejudice. She respects her husband, understands him thoroughly and loves him unconditionally - I have no idea of how my mom and dad bonding became so strong ... its another story i am yet to hear. But then they make it look so simple and easy - 31 years of marriage still strong....
They have every respect in the world, their children truly look up to them and love them, no servant could cheat them - I was always admire my mom's contribution in this successful marriage, her patience and tolerance have been the key...
My dad truely adores her :) I know many of my frnds talk to my mom with ease, her nature is sweet and gentle - I have also seen my cousins asking her for advice and looking up to her than their own mothers.
I wish i could be much more open with her tell her how much more i love and admire her - I wish she knows my hearts content...
She has taught me the value of my tear... to look forward in every situation never backwards... to forgive and forget..to find happiness within yourself than to look around... she is a true inspiration, a women of substance - clever, witty, charming - I often wish a day would come when someone tells me I am an better than my mom in some way - But i know that day would never come ;)
Thank you God !!!
